about the river ribnik
The Ribnik is a small but extraordinary river, stretching just 5 km, fully wadable from start to end — giving anglers complete access to every pool, run, and riffle. Despite its modest size, it holds an outstanding population of wild fish, including grayling growing up to 60 cm and wild brown trout with recorded specimens reaching an incredible 90 cm. Crystal-clear water and consistent hatches make the Ribnik a true paradise for dry fly fishermen, while its clarity and structure also make it one of the finest destinations for sight fishing anywhere in the region.
