This all‑inclusive mini package includes 3 days of fishing and 4 nights’ accommodation. It’s perfect if you’re visiting Bosnia and want to combine fishing with other activities or include it as part of a regional trip. Everything is organized so you can focus on fishing while we handle transfers, permits, guiding, lodging and meals.
Clients will have a chance to discover the crystal‑clear waters of Bosnia, native wild grayling and brown trout, breathtaking nature, and amazing local cuisine. This short stay is an ideal introduction to fly fishing in Bosnia, offering expert guiding, coaching for all levels, and a compact, memorable angling experience.
Price 990 EUR per person
In this package, drinks and fishing equipment are not included.
Before the trip, all the clients would get a survey so we could better understand some of their expectations, goals, and other things like food preferences, etc.
If you are looking for a single room accommodation, additional cost is 150EUR.
Price (1 person): 1300,00 EUR — private single room and personal guide
Price (2 or more persons): 990,00 EUR per person — two clients share a room.
Single-room supplement (for groups of 2+): If two or more guests book the trip and any guest requests a private single room, a €150 single-room supplement applies per person for the stay.
One guide covers up to 3 guests. For groups of 4–6 guests, 2 guides are provided; for 7–9 guests, 3 guides, and so on.
Our all-inclusive package includes:
- Airport transfers — We arrange pick-up and drop-off from the listed airports, with transfers timed to your arrival and departure so you can start and finish your trip hassle-free. The list of airports can be found in the FAQ section.
- Fishing licences for all rivers visited — All required permits and river licences are handled by us, allowing you to fish legally and immediately upon arrival without additional paperwork.
- Daily guiding with experienced local guides — Our professional guides know the rivers, hatches, and productive fishing areas. They provide instruction, help with reading the water, and share valuable local knowledge to maximize your fishing experience.
- Full board accommodation — Meals include a combination of riverside lunches and restaurant dinners (depending on the daily schedule), with opportunities to enjoy authentic local cuisine. Dietary requirements noted in your pre-trip survey can be accommodated.
- Accommodation in a riverside lodge — Stay in comfortable lodge rooms located directly beside the river, offering easy access to fishing, relaxing common areas, and beautiful views.
- Transportation to all fishing locations and restaurants — Daily transfers between fishing beats and dining locations are included, so you don’t need to worry about logistics.
Not included: Drinks, guide gratuities, rental tackle, and any specialized equipment beyond the standard package inclusions.
Rods and Reels
For dry-fly fishing and indicator nymphing, 9–10 ft rods in 3–5 wt are ideal. For Euro-style nymphing, 10–11 ft rods in lighter 2–3 wt line classes are recommended, helping anglers detect the subtle takes often associated with grayling fishing.
Long leaders are commonly used in Bosnia, with tippet sizes ranging from 5X to 7X depending on river conditions and the time of year.
Waders and Boots
Breathable waders paired with felt or Vibram-soled boots are recommended for comfort and reliable traction on slippery riverbeds.
Clothing
Good base layers and thermal mid-layers are strongly recommended. Even during summer, river temperatures remain low, so anglers should pack warm, quick-drying underlayers and insulating clothing suitable for changing weather conditions.
Our primary target species are grayling and brown trout, with rainbow trout available in selected locations. The package is suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers thanks to the wide variety of rivers and fishing conditions available.
We commonly fish the Ribnik, Sana, Sanica, Pliva, Una, Unac, and Dabar rivers, while additional waters may be included depending on conditions and guest preferences. During every trip, we aim to fish at least 3–4 different rivers.
Bosnia offers exceptional sight-fishing opportunities. The rivers are crystal clear and rich in natural food sources, providing excellent dry-fly fishing as well as productive nymphing throughout the season. These fisheries are famous for their wild fish populations, and many rivers have never been stocked.
The main fishing season runs from April to November, with each month offering unique hatches and opportunities. Winter fishing is also possible, as many rivers remain open throughout the colder months, allowing anglers to enjoy quality fishing when much of Europe is closed.
Fish Sizes
Grayling: Common sizes range from 35–45 cm. Several rivers hold excellent numbers of trophy fish in the 50–60 cm range. Such fish are not uncommon in Bosnia, and every guest has a realistic chance of landing a truly memorable wild grayling.
Brown Trout: Average fish measure around 40–50 cm. Larger specimens between 60–80 cm are caught regularly each year, making trophy brown trout a realistic possibility on many rivers.
Alongside outstanding fly fishing, guests can enjoy excellent local cuisine, beautiful valleys, and spectacular riverside scenery.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a member of the European Union. If you arrive via a neighbouring country (for example, through a Croatian airport), you will cross an international border upon entering Bosnia and Herzegovina. A valid passport is required, and guests should check visa requirements for their nationality before travelling.
The local currency is the Bosnian Convertible Mark (BAM), although many shops and restaurants also accept euros. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, but some smaller businesses may operate on a cash-only basis, so carrying a small amount of cash in BAM or EUR is recommended.
