The closest airport to the lodge where we will be accommodated is Banja Luka airport (about 90min drive), but other good options are Zagreb airport, Split airport , Sarajevo Airport , Zadar Airport , Tuzla Airport.

Is dry fly fishing good in Bosnia?

Yes , in Bosnia you can experience amazing dry fly fishing for graylings and trouts . What is special about rivers like Ribnik and Sana is that almost every day there is some rising fish and you can catch fish on a dries.

What is the best time to visit ?

If you are looking for best dry fly fishing for grayling , autumn is the best option (September , October , November) . May and June are also really good if you want to target big brown trouts on bigger dry flies, but also hatch of small BWO are not rate in this time of the year as well so you can have great fishing . April is a good time of the year because fish are still not much pressured and the graylings are finished with spawning so they start to eat more , so it is a good time for a trophy graylings both on nymphs and for dries. For sight fishing lovers, July and August is perfect time for that. Low water and technical fishing with small flies, but good fishermen with the help of our guides will have a chance of catching real trophies in this time of the year, as well as some great evening dry fly fishing.
